A city in full bloom, right on King Street
This May Bank Holiday, King Street Manchester becomes part of one of the city’s most talked-about events, the Manchester Flower Festival.
At the heart of it is the Floral Trail, a free, self-guided route that winds through Manchester city centre, transforming its streets into a series of vibrant, larger-than-life installations.
As you make your way along the trail, you’ll discover displays, each inspired by Green Manchester, celebrating the city as a forward-thinking, sustainable and green destination.

King Street itself plays a key part in the experience, with its own standout installations adding colour and creativity to one of the city’s most recognisable streets. Expect striking photo moments, unexpected details and plenty of reasons to pause as you explore.
Running from Saturday 23rd April to Monday 25th May, the Floral Trail is completely free and easy to dip into, whether you’re planning a full day in the city or just passing through. Pair it with lunch, drinks or a bit of shopping on King Street, and you’ve got a ready-made plan for the long weekend.
