Aristocracy London opens on King Street Manchester bringing luxury tailoring north

King Street has long stood as one of Manchester’s most distinguished addresses, where heritage architecture meets a modern sense of luxury. As the street continues to evolve, it welcomes Aristocracy London, a tailoring house whose refined aesthetic aligns seamlessly with its surroundings.

Over time, King Street has shifted from its roots as a financial hub into a go-to spot for great shopping and elevated experiences, with Aristocracy London adding something fresh to King Street. Introducing a brand known for its signature three-piece suits and a meticulous approach to contemporary menswear.

Set within a listed building and unfolding across four floors, the new showroom represents the brand’s first location outside of the capital. Its presence reflects a shared commitment to craftsmanship, detail, and a sense of occasion that has long defined King Street.

There’s a natural synergy between King Street’s heritage setting and Aristocracy London, blending classic architecture with a modern take on tradition. Founded in 2019 by Lazaros Tyrekidis, the brand brings with it a narrative that spans cultures and disciplines.

Inside the showroom, the experience is centred around craftsmanship and personalisation. Alongside the showroom’s Prêt-à-Porter offering, which provides an immediate expression of the brand’s aesthetic, Aristocracy London will soon introduce its made-to-measure service once the Atelier space is complete. The forthcoming service will offer an appointment-led journey, beginning with consultation and evolving into a process of careful design. Clients will be guided through a selection of fabrics, from wool and cashmere to linen, alpaca, and mohair, with each piece reflecting both individual preference and tailoring tradition.

Alongside this, the brand’s Prêt-à-Porter collection provides an immediate expression of its aesthetic. Drawing on royal and military influences, the collection balances structured silhouettes and intricate detailing with contemporary proportions. Designs such as the Balmoral and Windsor suits sit comfortably within this narrative, while accessories complete a cohesive approach to modern formalwear.

Aristocracy London’s approach extends beyond design. The brand integrates philanthropy into its foundations, supporting Suited & Booted, a charity that provides professional clothing for men from disadvantaged backgrounds seeking employment, and funding scholarships in the founder’s native Greece. Sustainability also plays an increasing role, with collections incorporating considered materials and responsible design practices.
