August Bank Holiday weekend is upon us once again!
This could only mean one thing; Aperol Spritz and Pimms in the afternoon, dining al fresco, and shopping to your heart’s content. We’ve pulled together a mini guide full of incredible bank holiday experiences and offers available on King Street over the long weekend!
All Bar One
From 28th June until early September, All Bar One is offering a new LGBTQ+ inspired cocktail called the Absolut Queen. Be surprised with hints of Absolut Citron vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, sugar and lime. For every Absolut Queen bought during this time, a 50p donation will go towards Ask for Clive, a charity that fights against LGBTQ+ discrimination in the community, working to make entertainment venues safer, and a more welcome space for everyone.
73-79 King Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M2 4NG
Flight Club

Enjoy a mixture of spending time in the bar and the other time getting competitive in the oche playing Social Darts. Time to get competitive against your friends!

Al Fresco Dining
Make the most of the sunshine by dining at one of King Street’s restaurants al fresco style. Experience the different tastes of the Iberian Peninsula at either El Gato Negro Tapas or Tast Catala whilst you bask in the sun.
Alternatively, you can enjoy a slice of freshly made pizza from Franco Manca out on the street. Accompanied with a cocktail, wine, beer or your favourite soft drink, Franco Manca gives you an authentic taste of Italy right here on King Street.
Manchester Pride
Manchester Pride is here and we’re so excited for all the celebrations that are taking place across our beautiful city. Join us on Saturday 27th August for incredible stilt walkers performing on King Street.
Once again we are fundraising for akt charity to support LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. Akt support young people aged 16-25 into safe homes and employment, education or training. They’re welcomed into an open environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities.
Brighten up your day with one of our colourful #BEEPROUD pin badges. They will be available to purchase in Pizza Express, MATE, Miller & Carter, Bravissimo, and King Street Grooming for the foreseeable future. King Street Grooming are also offering a free beer or soft drink with every badge sold!
100% of the sales will go to the charity and you can also purchase the badges and other PRIDE goodies at https://www.akt.org.uk/pages/shop/department/pride.
